Let me introduce us, my name is Sharon, and have been working in childcare for 22 years. I am married to Richard, and we have four children of our own.

Back in 2009 we took the decision to both work together as a husband and wife childminding team, and with the arrival of our baby girl in 2010 to spend our time together as a family, whilst providing the same quality of childcare to other families.

We are both registered with Ofsted and hold relevant childminding qualifications. We’ve been running Kingswood Parks Childminding for the last five years. Prior to that I personally spent two years working as a Childrens Centre Practitioner for Kingston Upon Hull City Council, and prior to that I worked as a childminder in Market Weighton for  four years. I have an NVQ 3 in Childcare, Learning and Development, and several other vocational certificates which support my work with children.

We believe in giving children a secure, caring, homely, and stimulating environment where they are confident of their boundaries.

As parents we understand that children are our most precious gift, and we are committed to providing the best possible care for you and your children.

As of summer 2013, we became accredited which now enables us to provide free child places to qualifying children. Up to 30 hours per week can be provided free of charge, subject to eligibility.
