How we meet Ofsted Guidelines

We have a full working knowledge of the Early Years Framework (click here for further information. Will open in separate window). All of the play and activities provided (some of which are listed below) are in line with the framework, and give the children in our care the best opportunities to develop. Throughout the day we have free-play, structured activities, and quiet time. Toys are provided that are suitable for varying ages. All toys are in good condition and are clean. Children are given the freedom to choose their preferred toys. More structured and planned activities may include; Seed planting, play dough, chalks, cutting and sticking, painting, drawing, colouring, learning to write names, baking, Christmas decorations etc.

Daily Diaries

We keep a daily diary of your childs day which is provided to let you know what has happened during the day. With parental permission we can also take photos of your child during the days activities.
